The SLUPLift is a mini-suture facelift. The lift starts with a small incision in front and in back of the earlobe and elevation of the skin just in front of the earlobe. The muscle (SMAS) is then threaded in a loop fashion to tighten the jowl area. This procedure is done under local anesthesia and average recovery time is 5 days. The advantage of the SLUPLift over other facelift threading procedures is: permanent suturing of the muscle for longevity of results with only a tiny incision in front and in back of the earlobe resulting in minimal swelling and bruising and no visible scarring.
